Rachel Biddiscombe
Rachel is the National Operations Manager of our Kairros Team, and an experienced Occupational Therapist. She brings ten years’ experience in Occupational Rehabilitation within the MedHealth Group, including five years as a Business or Regional Business Manager, and within this time has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic management and success in delivering key business metrics. Rachel has packed a lot into her blossoming career, already intrigued by the possibilities of Occupational Rehabilitation before she even joined the workforce, being awarded the inaugural WorkFocus Mental Health Rehabilitation Scholarship in 2013.
Rachel aims to create a high-performance culture to encourage Business Managers, Team Leaders, and their consultants, to be the best performers of the industry, using individual effort to meet company goals. Having the opportunity to help more individuals recover from injury and illness, while growing a prosperous business encapsulating career development for employees is her passion. The successful cohesion of large teams has come through open communication, team-building exercises to understand learning styles and time spent getting to know what motivates each individual.
Rachel has a thorough understanding of rehabilitation, policies and procedures, which was recognised when she was announced Outstanding Consultant in the inaugural ARPA NSW awards 2017, and Young Professional of The Year Awards 2018. Rachel also has a publication in the Australian Occupational Therapy Journal.
Rachel loves spending time with her family, including her one-year-old daughter, but early in the morning before work you will catch her at the gym. She leaves stress behind as she heads into the weekend with a glass of wine!
